Wow Where Do I Start!!
Well here we are..... already in a NEW YEAR and I have finally gotten a bit of time to post here again!! Things have been busy , snowy and cold here!!! Lots of stuff has happened since my last post so I will try to remember it all and tell you all about it!!
Thanksgiving was uneventful and yummy! We spent dinner at my sisters, now that she is moved down here closer to us ,which has been great fun, we get to do that more often!!!! We then moved into Christmas and lots of fun times with our boys, my sister , her hubby and son and his new GF!! I took loads of pics and posted tons and tons on Flickr!! You'll have to wade thru all the new yarn pics to see some of the holiday photos!! and speaking of new yarn pics! I got myself a New Majacraft Aura wheel right before Christmas and I am having a blast spinning on her!! What a dream to spin on! She's effortless! I have named her Athena!.... More news....our youngest son is officially engaged! He gave her a stunning ring Christmas eve and totally surprised her!! We are thrilled of course!!
Well I thought there was so much more to talk about, but I seem to be at a loss of anything else exciting to say!! We have had some bitter cold weather and lots of snow but missed a lot of what ended up moving out and dumping along the east coast a few weeks ago now! but we have been getting our fair share and not much melting either as the temps have been mighty chilly and below freezing for some time! Oh except the few days we actually got near 60 degrees!! yeah that didn't last long!!

Here I AM AGAIN!!!
Not too much exciting to report! Weather here has now gone into the real fall mode. We are cold and windy and most of the leaves have now fallen off the trees and the furnace has been stoked with wood non stop now for a while!! We had snow on the east side of Cleveland but luckily we missed that all! I have added some new batts to the etsy shop last Sunday and today so stop over and take a peek! Lots of pics also on flickr too! There are pics too of my Art Gang meeting with my friends a few weeks ago and yarns I spun as well!! You just have to go back a bit to see them all!!
I hope to have more exciting things to post next time! For now I will leave you with a few pics of my batts, baby dog and the last of our flowers now a bit froze!!Then I'll get back to the last bit of my laundry! Have a great week!!!

It's Been Forever!!!
No I have NOT fallen off the face of the earth and I really am still alive! I am sorry I have neglected my poor blog so much lately! I have been busy though, so I have lots to tell and pics to share!! I have already posted all on flickr and facebook too so some of you have already seen them and know I really have been around,just not here on my poor little blog!!
So that being said let's see!.... I have managed to finally take a class with Jacey Boggs from Insubordiknit fame and I even managed to spin a few yarns too that weren't too awful with her fabulous techniques!!! She is truly delightful and so much fun to hang out with! Lucky me it was for 2 whole days!! wow it was amazing!! check out Flickr for LOTS of pics! (all to be exact!) I will only post a couple here so as not to make the post insanely long!
Then let's see..... I got to go to Rhinebeck with my sister, mom, dad, nephew and 2 of my sister's friends! (we all flew in separately! ) There I met up with my dear online friend and buddy Laura and her sister Sarah too! I also got to meet Nicola Brown, Heather Karlhiem, Cindy of Studioloo fame and Steph from Loop!! wow how can you beat that!! It was really amazing!!! So wonderful to make new and meet old friends!! I had the best time!! Please stop and see all the pics in flickr or on FB too!! I hope to finally get back in the swing of things now this coming week and do a much needed shop update! so please stop back to see what I come up with!!
I will try to do better with my posting here and keep you all up on the goings on! The weather is slowly turning more fallish and much cooler temps etc on the horizon so guess time to break out the long pants and warmer tops etc!! A Little Sad My Summer Is Over!
Well as of tomorrow my summer will officially be over and it is back to work again for me!! :((
I did have a great summer despite all the heat and humidity here and very little rain!! We finally had a nice shot of rain last nite and my brown crispy and crunchy grass is a tad bit happier!! As is my poor garden which is slowly going into fall mode and starting to look VERY scraggly!! still a lot of tomatoes starting on my plants as well as some peppers so I hope thy will still make it! My cukes have since gone along the way side though:(( but they were great while they lasted!! Happy that I have the Amish produce stand just a tad south of us so I can get a few more things still till fall really sets in and we have a frost! (yikes can't believe I said that!!) So I hope you all had a lovely summer and I'll be posting more etsy shop updates and spinning now again and also hope to do a lot of wet felting as I have lots of locks and fiber to play with!! Here are a couple of pics of my little wet felted bowl I made and the etsy shop has some fun batts and goodies there too!!
I will try to be back soon! I am hoping this will be a good year at school!!

Another Hot and Humid Day!!
This has certainly been one hot and very sticky humid summer!! I Can't remember having the AC on this much! I am really not liking it at all!! Also sad to have to be going back to work in 2 weeks and realize my summer break is now coming to an end!! Sadly I didn't get everything done of course that I had hoped to do, or thought I would but then that seems to be par for the course!! Never enough time or energy!!
Today we ended up sleeping in way too long after a long nite worrying if my sister would get home from her KY trip safe and sound after her van decided to die on her!! Happy she made it home and her and hubby are safe!! She is also packing and getting ready to move into their new (new to her anyway, pretty little ole farmhouse with some nice acreage) house very soon and be closer to me!! VERY HAPPY about that!! esp in the summer and all we will actually get to spend more time together and only 15 min apart! So all in all things are going well! Plus to top it off I was so excited to learn I am also in an Etsy treasury!! here is the link! Yikes It's the END of July!!
Wow can't even figure out where the month went!! I have been staying some what busy and also goofing off with friends and such too! We have had some really HOT weather and VERY humid, certainly not fun for me!! I truly do NOT like the heat or the humidity here! From what I have heard from friends all over though this is pretty much the norm all over including where they are as well as far as Europe and even China etc! So guess will have to just suck it up and move on with it!
I have been gathering felting supplies and such and hope to actually create some fun pieces soon! Today we are going to a retirement party soon so don't want to get started on anything I can't finish so hoping for tomorrow! Need to also get my shop updated as well and do have some new wool pics to post of a lovely Wensleydale fleece I did in natural shades of grey! so pretty! have more batts and all too but need pics of those so that is next on the agenda since have gotten 2 loads of laundry done am off to move on to more fun things like cleaning the bathroom!! oh yeah that's fun!! I have managed to pick quite a few cukes from the garden but the tomatoes and peppers are being elusive and slow in growing so hope they will still produce a lot but has been a rough year for them and our grapes too! So it goes here in OH! Today is lovely and cooler and a great breeze going so am happy! No sweating or feeling gross! so more soon and pics too!! Have a great weekend all!!

Having A Fun Time!!!
I have been busy washing and dyeing fleeces and I hope to update my etsy shop soon, but I have also been busy learning a new found love to use all my fiber I have!!!
I have always loved knitting and felting bags and bowls etc, well now I have gotten the wet felting bug and hope to progress into and onto more fun and bigger projects! After my class with Pam MacGregor at Woolfest in Kirtland at the end of June, where I made my fun cuff I posted a picture of in my last post, I decided to contact her and take her up on her offer to have classes in her studio at her home!! I can not even begin to describe the fun I had , what a lovely home and of course fab studio Pam has!! I learned so much in 2 days my head was reeling with all the techniques and ideas going on in there! Not only that but all the eye candy in her studio and home was just sensational!! She is a wonderful teacher and so delightful to spend time with! I was made welcome by her, as well as her husband and the wonderful menagerie of 4 legged friends/"family members" she has!! Her dogs, cats, chickens, pot bellied pig, and llamas too!! Sadly I was so in love with all the wool fun, that I didn't get pics of her lovely home and gardens etc, but I will next time!! I have pics of some posted in my flickr you can take a peek at! Also some of my pages I did in the technique book I worked on plus lots of pieces from Pam that she has created!! Her work is wonderful!! I had the best time!! I hope to get to go back again soon!! Below are just a few pics!! check out my flickr for more! Thanks Pam!! I will be embellishing all my "book pages" as well so I will post pics as I complete them! may be in the fall as now I want to keep trying new things!!

Happy 4th Of July!!
I hope everyone will have time with family and friends to enjoy their day and to honor all our troops here and abroad!!
I will be with my hubby, friends, sister and BIL so lots of fun to be had there!! I have gotten myself a new camera and am attempting to figure out how it works!! (which has been quite a challenge for me!! it's so hard to teach old broads new tricks it seems!!) I have posted pics in my flickr of some of my new dye pots and updated my etsy shop with some new locks!! A bigger update tomorrow with hopes I have now set the camera correctly so as to get the right size pics!! hehehe!! So have a fun day!! we are once again in the heatwave mode so I am thankful my friends have AC as well as I do! I was really enjoying the cooler, less humid days but, will hope for a weather change soon!!!

WHAT!!?? It's SUMMER!! WOW How Did that Happen!!!!!
Well the summer break, as always, started off way too late for me and then it has been at times (well what I think anyway!) brutally hot and sticky with no relief at all, all day or nite!! I finally manged to plant a few of my veggies,(yes still have a couple I hope to still get in!!) which are trying desperately to hang on between the extreme heat, humidity, wild rains and storms that have rolled thru at times! One time being just yesterday, with lots of wind damage and such! I am happy to say the weather people are saying cooler this week and dry for a change!! YIPPEE!!!
So .....I have been busy even though I haven't told you all! I have been washing and dyeing new fleeces (I have at least 18 at last count I think!!) and posted new goodies to my etsy shop and LOTS of pics to flickr that I didn't announce here either !! :(( Sorry!!
I did a dye day with the Medina guild I belong to which was lots of fun and also a natural dye day with my friends from my local guild here in Lorain County that was great fun and food too!! so lots of pics of those posted for you to see!! I took a fabulous fun felting class yesterday with Pamela MacGregor (who is here in OH!!) and made a fun felted cuff! I of course now hope to make quite a few more, as soon as I can finish this one, when it is actually dry enough to embellish!!( and that of course will depend on the insane humidity we have been having daily!!) My flower garden has gone crazy and lots bloomed and is now starting to bloom! It has been busy as you can see from my flickr pics and all since school got out on the 9th of this month! Can't believe though we are winding down the month already and into the 4th of July!! yikes!! So below are a few pics, but all are on flickr so take a peek and I promise to be good and post here more!!, at least till school starts again ok!! Have a super week and 4th of July! Oh MY Where has the Time GONE!!
So sorry to have been out of touch this long! We have had some major family issues that have happened and were going on and so I didn't want to post all the bad stuff even though there has been some good stuff too!! I will post a lot more real soon, because as of the 10th of June I will be on summer break and so more fun stuff hopefully going on then!!
We had Mother's Day come and go and I did post pics of little Lindey's BD party too all are on flickr but you'll have to wade thru to get to some of them!! My nephew graduated from Hiriam college last Sat!! we had fun with that and my parents came up from FL too, so there are pics of that as well!! we had a good time!! My youngest son turned a year older too, but we still have to have his dinner out! He has been working so tremendously hard at work and on his masters degree we only get to chat on the phone or text!! I am quite proud of him though and he works so hard!! Our oldest son is in Germany hopefully having LOTS of fun and taking lots of pics since I am quite jealous I didn't get to go too!! Yesterday I spent the day creating new batts for my etsy shop so hope you'll pop in there to see what is left , as I already sold several!!
This coming Sat I will be going to the Great Lakes Fiber Fest in Wooster, OH and bringing home a ton of new fleeces to dye up too!! so here are a few pics to tide you over and hope you'll take a look at flickr and see what else you've missed!! I promise to be back much sooner this time and am praying for no more bad news!!!

Yes Yes It Really Is Me!!!
Well once again I had slacked off and didn't post last week so sorry! Really there was nothing exciting I guess to share so I just stayed quiet!!!
Now, today though, I managed to update my etsy shop !! yippeeeeee and I posted tons of pics on flickr too!! I had a blast yesterday visiting my friend Dawn and her lovely farm again!! I got to play with her new baby Fainting goats and see all her other fun fainting goats, guard dogs and naked neck chickens(yup no feathers around their necks!!)!! Here is her link to her farm/shop Peace Eagle Valley! She is also a Spinolution Wheel dealer and you know how much I love my Mach 2 (ole BB "Big Bertha") so if you need one just check her out! She has the Mach 2, the Bee, and the Hopper too!! She will be at the Fiber Show in Wooster in May (Memorial day weekend) Great Lakes Fiber Show!! loads of fun to be had and of course BUY!!! I have 5 new Lincoln fleeces I will be picking up then, as well as seeing what else there is I can't live without!! I have 5 new BFL/BL fleeces coming soon as well, so watch for lots of new goodies as I get them washed and dyed in the next couple of months!! also a new Romney fleece from my buddy Sandy (Homestead Wool and Gift Farm) as well later on, so lots going on and coming in!

HAPPY EASTER!!!
Well I am happy to say I made it to spring break and here it is Easter already!! yikes!! I am happy to say the weather has been lovely up till yesterday when we had some wicked winds and stuff blowing thru the yard at 50mph at times!! But it was still warm until the front blew thru and temps dropped from like 83o to 56o real quick like!! Today a bit cooler but still lots of sunshine and quite nice!!
I have been getting batts made up and bags of locks and such to take with me to Chardon this Thurs for a spinning demo! So anyone out in that area please stop by! I would hate to be there alone!!!!!! Kate is such a dear for inviting me to her wonderful shop! Here is the link to her shop Knitting On The Square! So come by and play with me from 1 to 4PM! You can bring your own wheel and spin along and I am bringing 2 of my own wheels as well!! I will attempt to show how I spin my crazy style of yarns and I'll have lots of goodies to buy to play with! I am looking forward to some fun and hope our weather will be nice as well!!
I got to visit with my Granddaughters too this last week and drop off their Easter "Pails" with the goodies I got them!! I decided on pails rather than baskets so they could use them to play with outside afterwards!! I am sad to say I didn't have the camera when I went over to Kris and Amy's to see Erica, so I will have to make up for that when we go to celebrate her BD (which is today!!) next Sun since she is in FL this week for her spring break!! We got pics though of Jurgen and Lorrie's little ones on Wed and then we all went to dinner together!! We had a great time esp watching Lindey schmooze on her grandpa the whole time was quite fun!! I would have gotten pics but I was too busy playing with her and watching her hug on her grandpa!! So to see them all go to my FLICKR and take a peek! They had fun! as did we!! WHERE Has The Time GONE!!!??
Well they say spring is here, but after the snow we had a couple of days ago and now yucky cold and raining I sure want to know where it is or when it will get here!! I am hoping soon since I will finally be on spring break starting later this week!!
Sorry I haven't posted in over 3 weeks, it has been hectic here and just plain ole lack of motivation didn't help!! Now I did take a fab and fun spinning class for 3 days, as I posted in my last post, on the 5th, 6th, and 7th and had lots of fun and I posted LOTS of pics on my flickr!! We all had a great time and we all learned a lot! I also signed up for a class in Oct with Jacey Boggs and I can hardly wait for that now!! So lots going on there! in my little fiber world!! I will also be doing a demo of me spinning my art yarns as I know how to do them out in Chardon, OH ,at Knitting On The Square , on the 8th of April! So any of you that are near there and want to join me you can bring your wheels and I will have lots of fiber for sale, goodies to add in, as well as new yarns etc!!! I hope to have some fun!!
We also did a family dinner in honor of my FIL ,that our son had Jurgen set up, out at the Gatherings in Lakewood! The chefs were amazing and the food was absolutely fabulous!! We all had to pitch in and make something and then the chefs served up everything afterwards! It was a wonderful way to honor dad and all his times of cooking for us and making all the fun meals he did!! Pics on flickr as well for you to see!!
So nothing else new right now, but an etsy shop update will be in the works for Sun the 4th of April, so come to check that out and I will post pics hopefully, if the weather cooperates, of the garden as I get it ready for SPRING!!! I hope to plant some lettuces and radishes now and then get the rest of my beds ready and hubby wants to do 2 new ones for me (or should I say, I WANT HIM to make me 2 new ones), since he wants the one we have by our deck to be all flowers! So since we have to move that veggie bed I want an extra one right away so we have a bit more growing space to work with!!!!! Planning on lots of cukes, tomatoes, peppers, squash, and whatever else I can find!! Now for a summer like last year where not hot and humid would be ideal!! hehehe! Yes I know chances of that are slim to none more than likely but nice to have some wishful thinking!
Well that's it for now will post a few pics of the spinning class and our dinner! More soon!! Can't wait for my break to start and new stuff to do! Oh yes new fleeces on the way and will be posting new locks as soon as they are washed and dyed!! so be on the look out!
